We are currently looking to engage an experienced Civil or Project Engineer join our team in delivering a substantial civils package.

The role will be offered on a Full-Time Max Term contract or Casual if preferred.

Key functions of the role:

  • Review and interpret design plans to ensure compliance with structural and material specifications.
  • Supervise site preparation and concrete works,including formwork, reinforcement, pouring, and finishing.
  • Monitor quality control, conducting tests like slump and compressive strength to ensure concrete meets standards.
  • Ensure safety and regulatory compliance by enforcing site safety protocols and adhering to building codes.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and project managers, to maintain workflow and timelines.
  • Document and report progress, test results, and any deviations from plans for accountability and future reference.

What will set you up for success:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a similar large construction (Concrete) role
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
  • Proficiency in relevant software
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
