Ferguson Lodge is our specialised accommodation site located in Lidcombe, providing support for those with spinal cord injury since 1979. We offer community-based accommodation with a high level of personal and clinical care for those who have complex needs.

The Opportunity

Join a diverse workplace and assist in the preparation and delivery of meals to residents and employees of Ferguson Lodge, in Lidcombe. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of food
  • Delivery of meals to residents
  • Cleaning of equipment and machinery
  • Disposal of waste
  • Receiving and circulation of stock
  • Flexibility to work in the laundry from time to time

Important Details

  • We're looking for someone who can work 6am-10am Thursday, Friday and Saturday (12 hours per week).
  • The pay rate is $27.17 per hour.
  • We're located in Lidcombe – a 10 minute bus ride from the station.

About You

We are looking for someone reliable and who can also:

  • Comply with safe food handling and preparation policies and procedures.
  • Understand nutrition practices.
  • Work in a diverse workplace.

You must also have:

  • Willingness to complete an NDIS Worker Screening Check, National Police Check and pre-employment health questionnaire.
  • Desirable, but not required is experience with NDIS Practice Standards.
