We are seeking a Radio & Paging Engineer to provide support for our Specialist Operations & Coordination Department.

This is a Full Time, Permanent position. While WFH/Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at Bendigo or Ballarat Regional Office in line with our hybrid working model.

About the role

Reporting to the Lead Radios & Paging responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to:

• Provide field-based second / third level support to users of AV's technologies in a timely, courteous manner, including but not limited Radio Communications, Telecommunications, and end user devices.
• Contribute to the timely delivery of AV infrastructure projects according to project plans, including property moves/adds/changes co-ordination), acceptance testing and appropriate level of documentation
• Under the direction of the Lead Radios & Paging:
• Design, implement, and maintain the AV technical environment to meet AV business requirements
• Order and process hardware and resources for communication services.
• Provide subject matter expertise in the specialist areas of AV

About you

To be considered for this position you will possess a degree or relevant industry certification with subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of training and relevant experience (preferably in an Information & Communications Technology related discipline). Other requirements include:

• Demonstrated proficiency in a wide suite of AV's technology operations & support including but not limited to the BASIC level items listed in the Radio Engineer Skills Matrix
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of Electronic and Electrical principles
• Knowledge and experience with Structured Cabling
• Experience working within an Emergency Services organisation
