Selection Criteria:

• Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and AHPRA.
• Demonstrated core competency skills in Aged Care and/or Mental Health in regards to functional assessments and interventions in older people with cognitive and/or mental health problems.
• Experience working in mental health, with a commitment to the principles of a consumer focused recovery oriented approach.
• Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to proactively engage with patients to enhance service delivery.
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to exercise independent professional judgement on routine matters, commensurate with years of experience.
• Computer skills and the capacity to use health information systems.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and evidence based practice, including planning, implementing and evaluating individual and group interventions.
• Current unrestricted Class C Drivers Licence.
