Accountant_Mandarin Required

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including processing invoices and payments, daily bank reconciliations and handling vendor inquiries.

· Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, prepayment, accruals, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, employee expense claims, etc. Process employee expense reimbursements and travel claims.

· Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including preparing relevant working papers and adjusting entries.

· Assist in the preparation of financial statements (e.g., Income Statement, Balance Sheet) and various financial analysis reports.

· Maintain and file financial documents and records, ensuring data integrity and traceability.

· Assist in the preparation and coordination of various tax filings, including Business Activity Statements (BAS lodgment), land tax lodgment, and income tax-related documentation.

· Support annual audit and quarter review preparations by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

· Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

· Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on various financial matters.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

· Above 5 years of relevant accounting experience.

· Must have the legal right to work in Australia.

· Familiarity with accounting standards (AASB/IFRS).

· Experience with Xero.

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., functions, pivot tables) and other Office productivity tools.

· Strong numerical aptitude with good analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Detail-oriented, responsible, and committed to accuracy and data integrity.

· Excellent communication skills and a team player, capable of working effectively under pressure.

· Professional fluent level Mandarin proficiency required for listening, reading and writing communications.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Proficiency in Xero is a plus.

· Holds or is working towards a relevant accounting certification (e.g., CPA).

· Experience in the renewable energy, construction or engineering industry
