Are you ready to lead one of Australia's most advanced veterinary hospitals through an exciting new chapter? The Animal Referral Hospital (ARH) Wollongong is seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Director to join our dynamic team for a 6-month maternity leave contract. This is your chance to step into a pivotal leadership role in a newly transformed, state-of-the-art facility, guiding a passionate team in an environment where clinical excellence is the norm.

Your Role: More Than Just a Vet

This isn't just a clinical position — it's a leadership opportunity. As Veterinary Director, you'll:

  • Lead a high-performing, collaborative emergency team
  • Mentor and support vets and nurses in a positive, learning-driven culture
  • Work alongside the Practice Manager on operational decisions 
  • Work with the Area Manager and Regional Clinical Director to achieve and maintain a high clinical standard ??
  • Contribute to the ongoing success and strategic direction of ARH Wollongong

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in emergency medicine (ECC experience essential)
  • ECC Memberships highly regarded but not essential
  • A passion for team leadership and mentorship
  • Strong communication, organisation, and decision-making skills
  • A compassionate, patient-first approach
