Grain Handling Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Grain Handling Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe handling, processing, and storage of grain.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in grain handling or a related field is preferred

• Ability to operate and maintain grain handling equipment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labour

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills

• Basic understanding of agricultural practices

• Forklift license

• Confined space certificate

• Working with heights certification

Key responsibilities include:

• Loading and unloading grain from trucks and containers

• Operating grain handling equipment such as augers, conveyors, and dryers

• Monitoring and maintaining grain quality during storage and processing

• Cleaning and maintaining grain handling facilities and equipment

• Assisting with the coordination of shipping and receiving activities

• Adhering to safety regulations and protocols at all times
