About the role:
Join Lannock as a NSW Business Development Manager to help drive the expansion of our fast, flexible and fuss-free funding for strata corporations.
You will build high value relationships with owners and strata managers, guiding committees to make informed funding decisions that enable essential remediation, compliance and sustainability work for the communities they represent.
Work in a collaborative, high impact environment that values initiative, clear thinking and practical results, alongside an expert team that helps clients navigate funding options and achieve strong outcomes for their strata communities.
This is a hands-on role at the heart of an evolving sector. Your responsibilities will change as we scale, giving you scope to shape product, go-to-market strategy and how we engage the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the development of a portfolio
- Working closely with strata managers, owners corporations and owners
- Originating and maintaining a steady pipeline of leads
- Converting leads which in turn will drive new enquiries and sales goals
Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will also work closely with the CEO, COO, marketing department and operations team.
In this role, you will:
- Inform owners, strata committee members and strata managers on the benefits of Lannock's products
- Build and nurture relationships with strata managers, suppliers and owners
- Establish connections with brokers and finance intermediaries
- Provide information about our products and services to clients and prospects
- Market and sell our offerings, ensuring clients and prospects are well informed
- Support other team members and contribute as part of a small, collaborative team
- Handle administrative and operational tasks related to these activities
- Undertake additional duties as needed to help the company achieve its goals
Your skills and experience may be utilised in other areas, potentially leading to significant changes in your role, including:
- Strategic planning
- Product development
- Distribution and channel development
- Marketing and promotion
- Managing relationships with service providers such as funders, loan servicers, custodians and lawyers
- Policy development and review
- Negotiating with third parties
