This large financial lending services organisation with offices in the CBD pride themselves on helping others and have a strong values-based workplace culture with a vision and mission that results in a very positive and rewarding working environment.
We are seeking a permanent full-time candidate with experience in a contact centre in a financial services environment as this role is a frontline role, phone based that will be fielding a great deal of customer enquiries and dealing with enquiries from mortgage broker partners.
THE ROLE...
This position is responsible for providing customers with relevant, accurate and up to date information to answer new home loan enquires and will determine if they are ready to apply and be referred to the Home Loan Specialists.
In addition, this role will perform a number of administrative tasks to support the daily operational needs.
The successful applicant will be provided with some comprehensive on the job training.
DAY TO DAY...
We are looking for applicants who have a genuine desire to help clients through this early stage of qualifying for a home loan who can demonstrate that they have an empathetic, goal orientated and consultative approach.
- Attend to incoming calls and provide accurate information to clients
- Gather relevant info on client's data
- Provide phone-based support on enquiries for the brokers
- Provide friendly, helpful and professional support in a consultative manner
- Assist with various application processes and record keeping
- Record management and administration for the client file
- Perform loan processing administrative functions

Ideally, we are looking for applicants with experience in customer service roles in a banking, lending, brokerage or financial services industry however if you have a financial acumen with customer service skills you are still encouraged to apply.

- Experience in contact centre roles or face to face
- Lending experience advantageous
- Strong customer service values
- Administration skills or experience
- Data entry and record keeping skills
- Strong computer skills and problem solving
- Team orientated and loves collaboration
- Intermediate level Microsoft Office suite skills Word, Excel & Outlook
- Police clearance or willingness to apply for one
You will demonstrate strong communication skills, high levels of attention to detail, good computer aptitude, team orientated and high focus on customer service.
