We are currently seeking an experienced Belt Splicer/ Rubber Liner to join our busy Maintenance team at Tropicana Mine Site.

Accountable to the Maintenance Superintendent and taking daily direction from the Mechanical Supervisor, this role is based on an 8:6 (Days only)  FIFO roster from Perth or Kalgoorlie. Weds to Weds roster.

Accountabilities:

• Commitment to a strong safety culture and hazard reporting
• Adhere to the Maintenance Work Management Process
• Routine inspections and maintenance repairs of conveyor & feeder belt systems
• Rubber lining tasks
• Ad-hoc tasks as required within the broader Maintenance team
  
  

About You

• Certificate 111 in Polymer Processing ( Belt Splicing), Must be held
• Prior working experience in a similar role within a multi discipline team
• Hands on experience working in a heavy maintenance environment including mine sites
• Experience in maintaining fixed-plant equipment and assisting Trades with various duties
• Confined Space and Working at Heights ticket, Forklift ticket desirable
• Hold a current WA C class drivers licence
• Pass a pre-employment medical
• Willing to obtain a new National Police Clearance
• Existing and ongoing Permanent work rights in Australia (Mandatory)
