Are you ready to take on a senior clinical role and make a real impact? Campbelltown & Camden Hospitals are seeking an experienced Level 3 Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Acute Inpatient Team, providing advanced care for patients with chronic and complex needs.

In this pivotal position, you will:

  • Deliver high level clinical care to inpatients with a range of diagnosis and clinical specialties including; general medical, aged care, orthopaedic, and neurological diagnoses.
  • Apply expert skills in complex discharge planning, ensuring safe and effective transitions of care.
  • Utilise your knowledge of community supports and funding bodies including My Aged Care (MAC), NDIS, Enable NSW, and local services.
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to junior staff, fostering professional growth.
  • Lead and drive quality improvement initiatives and collaborate with the leadership team on service development.
  • Access ongoing continuing professional development opportunities to support your career progression.

Selection Criteria

To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

  1. Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer, with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  2. Demonstrated advanced clinical skills and significant experience in the provision of occupational therapy services within adult inpatient chronic and complex care.
  3. Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills.
  4. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
