Take full ownership of large-scale public sector projects from concept through to delivery, where your design decisions will shape Queensland's built environment. These high-profile projects will give you a platform to showcase your expertise and build a standout portfolio.

With direct client interaction, consultant coordination and leading design development, you'll sharpen your leadership and communication skills. You'll guide a team of graduates and technicians, passing on your knowledge while influencing design across some of the state's most significant civic and defence projects.

What you'll do

Lead multi-million-dollar projects, making key design and technical decisions that showcase your vision and expertise. You'll shape high-profile civic, public sector and defence projects from design to delivery.

Drive design development, DA submissions, tender documentation, RFI responses and site visits, ensuring timelines and profitability targets are achieved. Coordinate consultants and manage stakeholder engagement, liaising directly with clients and overseeing QA processes for documentation.

What you'll need

  • Solid experience delivering projects in Australia from DA through to handover

  • Strong Revit proficiency (essential) and knowledge of industry-standard tools

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to lead meetings

  • Ambition and drive – someone who thrives in a collaborative studio and is eager to grow
