Job Description

Location: Perth Head Office, Western Australia

The Internship program at Sea to Summit is crafted to provide professional learning experience: meaningful, practical work related to your studies or career interest. The students will have the opportunity for career exploration and development, and to learn new skills in their preferred field.

What role will you play?

This is an unpaid internship that runs for 20 weeks (starting date is flexible) and includes a structured induction, on-the-job training and learning opportunities. You will work alongside industry experts on impactful projects to set yourself up for a successful career once you complete your studies.

We have opportunities in:

  • Product Design (Design Department)

Observe and gain practical experience in developing and driving innovative, market leading design concepts that are on on-trend, on price, and suitable for production.

Collaborate with the Design team to assist in further development of products from approved concept through to production.

  • Graphic Design (Marketing Department)

Observe and gain practical experience of main duties of graphic designers such as: developing and executing creative concepts for various projects including advertisements, packaging, promotional materials, and digital content ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and standards.

  • Content Creation (Marketing Department)

Observe and gain practical experience in creating compelling visual and copy assets for digital marketing campaigns, including social media posts, email newsletters, and website banners.

Qualifications

- Currently pursuing a degree related to the available job opportunities, showcasing a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, vital for effective collaboration and articulation of complex ideas.

- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team, highlighting adaptability and strong teamwork capabilities.

- If applicable, Australian Visa requirements must be met.
