Are you creative, enjoy hands-on work, and want to build a rewarding career in the woodworking and furniture industry?

GetCareers is currently seeking a motivated individual to undertake a Cabinet Making Apprenticeship with an established and reputable local business in Bunbury. This is a full-time opportunity to earn while you learn and gain a nationally recognised qualification – Certificate III in Cabinet Making.

About the Role

As a Cabinet Making Apprentice, you will:

  • Assist in the manufacture and installation of cabinets, furniture, and joinery items
  • Learn how to interpret drawings, measure, and cut materials accurately
  • Operate a range of woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools safely
  • Help with assembling, fitting, and finishing cabinetry and furniture components
  • Gain valuable on-the-job experience under the guidance of experienced tradespeople
  • Work on both residential and commercial cabinetry projects

What We're Looking For

  • Keen interest in woodworking and craftsmanship
  • Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
  • Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn a trade
  • Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
  • Physically fit and capable of manual tasks
  • A Driver's Licence is preferred, but not essential
  • Willingness to complete the apprenticeship while working full time

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Must reside in Bunbury due to job location
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
