About the Role

As a DSW in Gympie, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to clients with a range of disabilities.

Stoma care experience is essential for this role. You will help clients with daily living activities while supporting their independence, dignity, and emotional wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  • Stoma care, catheter care, personal care and medication support
  • Providing emotional support and promoting community access
  • Communicating effectively with clients, families, and care teams

Requirements

  • Proven experience with stoma care
  • Experience in ADLs, manual handling, and medication support
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Police Check, First Aid & CPR Certificates
  • Flexible to work across multiple locations and shifts
  • Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach
