We're on the look out for a skilled HC Float Driver to join our team and move our plant machinery safely, smoothly and with pride.

About the Role

Prime Mover / Low Loader Float Driver. Full time, experienced low loader driver required. Responsible for transporting our fleet of machinery and equipment. Our work is located all over Western Sydney. This is a valued role within our organisation and we provide good pay and conditions. You must have HC License & minimum 5 years experience in a similar role. Positive attitude and willingness to work. Operating machinery is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate heavy haulage float trucks.
  • Perform accurate loading, securing, and unloading of machinery and equipment.
  • Operate low loaders and floats across metro, regional & interstate routes
  • Maintain truck and equipment to a high standard
  • Deliver professional, friendly customer service on-site
  • Follow all safety procedures and compliance requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle usage, and compliance documentation.
  • Assist with general yard duties (cleaning, washing, light work)
  • Adhere to all relevant state and national road transport regulations.

What We're Looking For

  • HC Truck Licence (Heavy Combination) – Essential
  • MC Licence – Highly regarded
  • Load Restraint Certification – Preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience floating earthmoving equipment
  • Proven experience transporting heavy equipment and OSOM loads
  • Must provide RMS driving record printout
  • Strong understanding of load restraint guidelines
  • Excellent personal and vehicle presentation
  • Punctual, reliable, and a team player
