About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Financial Planning Associate/Review Adviser to join our dynamic team at Super Strategists. Working as part of an Advice and Admin team, you will be engaging with new and ongoing clients, as well as our Client Services and Accounting Teams to deliver an outstanding experience.   You are a main contact point for clients and are a support in the establishment and management of client accounts. You will also support the preparation of strategy, financial documents and Advice documents for clients. Financial planning associateswill need to utilize their strong technical abilities and, in return will benefit from mentoring and structured support as they progress through their Professional Year Program.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting material for client meetings
  • Attending client meetings to take detailed file notes and manage follow-up actions
  • Managing client onboarding processes from start to finish
  • Performing portfolio reviews and documenting recommendations
  • Liaising directly with clients, as well as external partners (e.g. accountants, fund managers)
  • Contributing to the implementation of insurance, investment and wealth strategies
  • Ensuring all advice and documentation complies with regulatory standards
  • Engaging in ongoing learning to support your professional growth

What we're looking for

  • Experience working within a Financial Planning or Accounting  (SMSF specific) office preferred
  • Great organisational skills are essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Exposure to Risk, Super and Investment products
  • A relevant Bachelors Degree
  • A Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning preferred or working towards completing
