Exciting opportunity for a passionate Early Childhood Teacher in Bundaberg

Expect a Star is currently searching for a dedicated ECT for a 5-week block placement, available to commence as soon as possible. This is the perfect opportunity for a passionate teacher who is looking for flexibility and the chance to make a meaningful impact within a supportive early learning team.

The Role

In this role, you will:

  • Enjoy Consistency – work in the same centre for the full block, building relationships with children and the team.
  • Educate and care for children aged 0-5 in nurturing, play-based environments.
  • Be a lifesaver for the permanent educators by helping covering lunch breaks, sick days and annual leave days
  • Lead and support meaningful learning experiences for your assigned group of children
  • Participate and support educators in the observation and recording of children's development
  • Work collaboratively with fellow educators to develop and implement inspirational educational programs

What we're looking for:

  • An Early Childhood Degree or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
  • Relevant teachers' registration (if applicable)
  • A Blue card for Paid Employment
  • Food handling certificate
  • Availability to commence immediately
  • Minimum 2 days of availability per week
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Reliability and adaptability  - ready to thrive in new environments and support different teams
