We are currently looking to add to our experienced and friendly team with positions available for an experienced and qualified TIG Welder based in our state-of-the-art facility in Parkinson (no requirement to travel to sites).

The position is available immediately for the right applicants.  Excellent pay rate - negotiated dependent upon experience

Based in Parkinson Queensland, and operating out of the largest of its kind, state of the art custom built warehouse, for over 30 years F & M Fabricators have worked hard to become the leading manufacturer of specialised roofing accessories in the country.

About the role:

  • Welding of mainly rainwater production parts using TIG
  • Stainless steel and sheet metal welding
  • Operation of machinery and equipment
  • Following work health and safety policies and procedures at all times
  • Quality assurance of finished parts, dimensions and tolerances.
  • Day shift hours: 7.00am - 3.30pm (M-Th) & Friday 7.00am - 1.00pm.

Who we are looking for:

  • Trade qualified or experienced fabricating welder
  • Experience in the manufacturing environment is beneficial
  • Ability to work to deadlines and available for overtime when required.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
  • Have a strong understanding of adherence to WH&S requirements.
  • Ability to work cohesively as a team with excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to learn
  • Honest, reliable and punctual
  • Permission to work in Australia
