About the positions:

The Cadet Engineer completes minor projects and gains experience in investigations, design, project management, construction and maintenance, assets management, operations and other activities associated with the provision of engineering services in local government.

• These are full-time positions which you'll manage in conjunction with part-time study.
• We are offering temporary employment until you graduate as an Engineer.
• The annual salary range is $71, $76,998.31 gross per annum, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.

How to be successful in these positions:

• Currently enrolled, and undertaking studies of a Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Civil/Environmental).
• WHS Competency (White Card) for CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safety in the construction industry.
• 'C' Class Driver's Licence.
• Passionate about developing experience in local government engineering functions.
• Sound computer literacy, and ability to apply legislation, policies and procedures.
• Highly organised, strong communication and teamwork skills.
