About the opportunity?

Y Victoria is currently seeking a permanent Coordinator for our Before and After School Care service at Mernda Central College. This is a permanent full-time position (38 hours per week) with working hours from Monday to Friday AM AM and 2.30 PM PM, with ample administration time during the day. The successful candidate will be supporting Full time at Macleod Recreation Centre during School Holiday Programs.

The hourly rate for the position is $35 (ACECQA approved Diploma or equivalent) and $41 p/hour (ACECQA Approved Degree or equivalent) + ECEC retention payment + 12% super.

OSHC Coordinators are responsible for:

• Overseeing the daily operations and strategic development and growth of the program;
• Working with the Regional OSHC Coordinator to identify and respond to service improvement opportunities;
• Creating a positive relationship with the school, families, local community groups and contract partners; 
• Managing a team of educators who support you in operating a high quality and fun Outside of School Hours Care program

What do you need?

• You'll need to have either completed or be working towards a Diploma or tertiary-level qualification as determined by ACECQA (see the link below)
• You'll need to have, or be willing to obtain a First Aid in an Education & Care Setting certificate (or equivalent)
• You'll need to have, or be willing to obtain a valid Victorian Working with Children's Check – employee check
• You'll need to have, or be willing to obtain a Food Safety Supervisor certificate within the first month of your employment
