We now have a full-time opportunity available for an experienced and results orientated Graduate Supply Chain Officer to join our team located at our Head Office inBox Hill.

What your responsibilities will be

• Reviewing stock levels at pre-determined intervals and re-ordering products according to prescribed criteria for multiple factors;
• Maintaining sufficient stock of products within prescribed parameters;
• Issuing orders to suppliers for new products in accordance with terms;
• Liaising with shipping and logistics companies regarding freight arrangements for overseas product;
• Providing forecasting details on specific products, as required by suppliers or customers;
• Reviewing supplier confirmation of orders against our requirements and negotiate as appropriate where conflict arises;
• Following-up on order status and advise other departments where delivery timing has changed; and
• Authorising back orders where suppliers cannot fully meet order requirements and back-order deliveries.

What you will Bring

• A degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or similar;
• A working knowledge of the importation of goods, handling, shipping, customs and local transportation;
• Self-starter motivation, pro-active with attention to detail;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills;
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment;
• Excellent negotiating skills;
• Proficiency in MS Office software, particularly Excel; and
• Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
