Job Description

Factory Hand-Welding Traineeship

  • Monday-Friday 38+ hours per week
  • IMMEDIATE START
  • Long term position

In this role you will be:

  • Assisting in the welding section supplying bull bars and side steps to the welders as well as learning how to MIG Weld and fabricate
  • Using power/hand and air tools
  • Some grinding clean up work
  • Operating machinery such as brake press and laser - you will be fully trained
  • Quality control
Requirements

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Factory experience
  • Automotive manufacturing knowledge(preferred not essential)
  • Knowledge of all hand,air and power tools
  • Adaptability
  • Self-motivated and reliable

For the right candidate, this position can lead to being trained up in all facets of MIG Welding and fabrication, including apprenticeship opportunities.
