Agricultural Technician – Mareeba, QLD
Full-time | Work with the world's largest Lemon Myrtle producer
We're looking for a hands-on Agricultural Technician to join our Mareeba farm team. In this role, you'll help monitor crop health, collect and analyse field data, and use modern agri-tech tools (like drones, GPS mapping, and soil sensors) to improve yield, sustainability, and quality.
What you'll do:
- Collect and record data on crop, soil, and environmental conditions
- Operate and maintain agricultural technology and equipment
- Support trials, experiments, and lab testing to improve plant health and oil quality
- Assist with irrigation, nutrient management, and pest forecasting using digital tools
- Keep accurate records for organic certification
What you'll bring:
- Diploma or equivalent in Agricultural Technology, Environmental Science, or similar
- 2+ years in an agricultural technical role
- Experience with precision agriculture tools and data systems is a plus
