The Role:

Are you reliable, quick to learn, and ready for a new challenge? Join our dynamic Operations team at our Moorebank site We're looking for an Automotive Yardhand who can bring meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and top-notch service to our customers. You'll play a vital role in all aspects of our automotive auction business.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and clean auction vehicles & loading of the auction area
  • Liaise with the sales/administration team and truck drivers as required
  • Assist with the preparation of auctions i.e. lotting of vehicles, and auction pad set up
  • Ensure that vehicles are processed in line with pre-defined customer standards and customer-specified timeframes
  • Record and book in all assets using a hand-held company supplied IT System
  • From time to time assist fellow team members in our passenger/light vehicle and salvage division

Skills & Experiences:

  • Experiences working in the automotive industry and/or administration roles (desirable)
  • Willing to undergo background checks (Police and Work Rights) and a pre-employment medical (including a drug and alcohol test) as part of the recruitment process. Please note: we also conduct random drug and alcohol tests onsite.
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong decision-making skills
