An exceptional opportunity for a specification sales professional to establish and grow the Victorian territory for a leading architectural products company. This field-based role combines architectural specification expertise with territory development, perfect for someone with strong relationship-building skills ready to join a high-performing team with clear career progression opportunities.
Our client is a leader in sustainable building materials and interior products trusted by architects and designers across commercial and residential projects. With established operations across Australia, they're seeking a Business Development Manager to drive specifications and build strong relationships across Victoria.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with architects, designers, and specifiers across Victoria
- Proactively schedule face-to-face meetings and CPD presentations with key decision makers
- Handle all specifications and sample requests, managing the full specification process
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities across commercial and residential sectors
- Travel extensively across Melbourne and regional Victoria for client meetings
- Represent the brand at industry events and networking forums
- Maintain accurate pipeline records using CRM tools
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of sales or specification experience in building materials, interior products, or A&D industry
- We welcome candidates from across the A&D sector, including building and construction, trades, and related industries
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills with architects, designers, and builders
- Ability to present effectively to clients and conduct CPD sessions
- Self-motivated sales professional comfortable with territory management
- Experience with CRM and pipeline management tools preferred
- Valid driver's license with willingness for extensive local and interstate travel
