Who are we and what do we do

For close to 50 years we have operated locally in Ballarat, Victoria as the Australian experts in Custom Vehicles and Trailers. We build bespoke specialist vehicles and trailers for a variety of private and government companies. We are recognised as an Australian leader in the industry and have a reputation of delivering outstanding products with award-winning designs.

Why are we recruiting

We are looking for experienced coachbuilders, vehicle body builders, mechanics, skilled technicians to join our team. We have a continual pipeline of technical projects and are looking for the right people to join us for the long term.

What you will be doing

You will be working with a small team of skilled tradespeople to create bespoke custom vehicle bodies and trailers. These units include mobile command centres, mobile libraries, medical clinics and more. Each day you will work with the team to solve problems, fabricate and build these units from the ground up.

Applicant Information

  • Permanent ongoing position
  • RDO every second Monday. Day-shift hours 6.00 am to 3.00 pm, Monday to Friday
  • Above-award wages.
  • Interesting and varied work

  • Pre-employment drug & alcohol screening is a requirement

Skills and experience

  • Commitment to workplace health & safety
  • Reliability, a positive work attitude & self-starting work ethic
  • Suitable written & verbal communications skills (in English)
  • Ability to work unsupervised, as well as in a team environment
  • Competent in reading & interpreting engineering/technical drawings
  • Commitment to quality & eye for detail
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Qualifications desirable, but not essential
  • Relevant experience in the manufacturing industry
