Remedial Massage Therapist

Chi Acupuncture & Remedial Massage is a well-established holistic health clinic located in Claremont. To help your recovery we offer services including Acupuncture, Chinese herbal Medicine, Cupping and Remedial Massage.

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Remedial Massage Therapist to join our warm and supportive team.

About the Role

As a Remedial Massage Therapist at Chi Health, you will:

· Communicate with clients during initial consultations about their symptoms, medical history, and desired result

· Design treatment plans tailored to individual needs and address issues such as pain relief, decreased range of motion, discomfort

• Deliver high-quality remedial massage treatments to a diverse range of clients
• Provide progress reports to clients about their physical condition, causes for pain/ discomfort, and rehabilitation advice
• Provide advice on injury prevention, stretching, and self-care
• Make reassessments during subsequent visits to monitor their recovery progress
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and treatment records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals (e.g., physiotherapists, acupuncturists, chiro) for integrated care
• Refer clients to other practitioners where appropriate

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• Qualified with a Diploma in Remedial Massage
• Registered with relevant associations and eligible for health fund provider numbers
• At least three years' experience in the role
• Passionate about client wellbeing, with a strong understanding of anatomy and therapeutic techniques
• Friendly, professional, and reliable
• A great communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Available for at least one weekend shift

Pay: $37.44 – $39.47 per hour
