Senior Health Support Lead – Complex Care
1 week ago
About Us
We are a family-governed, participant-owned NDIS service supporting a young woman with a rare degenerative neurological condition. Unlike larger facilities, we are a service-for-one, providing support in her own home and community.
We're a small, positive, and supportive team who enjoy working together and celebrating the wins along the way.
Our culture is values-based, family-centred, and fun. We take our responsibilities seriously but we also make sure the workplace feels welcoming, encouraging, and good-humoured.
About the Participant
At the heart of our service is a young woman living with a rare degenerative neurological condition. She is vibrant, creative, and continues to inspire everyone around her with her resilience, humour, and spirit. She has a love for music and arts and crafts, and thrives when she can share these passions with the people around her. Supporting her is not just about providing complex health care; it's about enabling her to live a rich, meaningful, and connected life. She enjoys being out in her community, spending time with family and friends, and finding joy in everyday moments. Working in this role means joining her journey — being part of a team that values creativity, compassion, and the belief that quality of life is about much more than just care tasks.
We are seeking a Senior Health Support Lead to strengthen our in-house leadership.
This role is ideal for an Enrolled Nurse, allied health professional, or experienced health care worker with leadership experience in aged care, paediatrics, or disability - who is looking for a change of pace from the rush of shared care settings and would enjoy joining a tight-knit, positive, and values-driven team.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main liaison with the delegating RN and Director on complex health matters.
- Provide on-shift leadership, modelling best practice in areas such as bowel care, seizure management, dysphagia/mealtime, positioning, and pressure care.
- Mentor and guide staff to embed care plans into daily practice.
- Support incident follow-up, risk management, and continuous quality improvement.
- Work collaboratively with allied health professionals to ensure holistic support.
About You
- Enrolled Nurse preferred, though allied health or experienced healthcare workers with complex care leadership are welcome to apply.
- Strong background in paediatric health, aged care, or disability care.
- Skilled in mentoring and supporting staff.
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to person-centred, values-based care.
- A team player who enjoys working in a positive, supportive, and fun environment.
What We Offer
- The opportunity to focus on supporting one individual with the time and space to deliver meaningful, high-quality care.
- A leadership role within a fun, supportive, and values-driven team.
- Competitive pay under the SCHADS Award – HCE Level 4.
- A flexible roster with shifts across days, evenings, and nights — offering variety and balance for those with broad availability.
- Access to the full NGO training suite (including leadership modules), DSC training programs, and connection to the Good Life Builders Community.
- Direct support from a hands-on Director with extensive experience in governance, compliance, rostering, and high-intensity supports, who values collaboration and will work alongside you to ensure success.
- A workplace where your expertise is respected, your leadership is valued, and your personality is welcomed.
Location: Aldinga Beach, Southern suburbs of Adelaide.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Pay: $32.89 – $53.31 per hour
