Summary

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Community Support Workers to join Coastal Supports WA. You will deliver person-centred support to NDIS participants across Perth, helping them with daily living, personal care, community access, and achieving their goals. Shifts vary across mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnights.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and daily living support (e.g. showering, dressing, meal prep, light household tasks)
  • Support participants with community access, social and recreational activities
  • Safely transport participants to appointments and outings
  • Follow care plans, behaviour support plans, and NDIS goals
  • Maintain accurate progress notes, incident reports, and communication logs in ShiftCare
  • Promote independence, dignity, and inclusion in every interaction
  • Uphold professional boundaries, confidentiality, and Coastal Supports WA policies

Requirements

  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working With Children Check (WWC)
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Driver's licence & reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Completion of required NDIS online modules (Hand Hygiene, Orientation, Effective Communication, Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals)

Desirable

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent
  • Experience with behaviours of concern or restrictive practices
  • Familiarity with ShiftCare or similar client management systems
