About the role

As a Solar Roofer at SIPENERGY, you will be responsible for the installation of solar panels on residential and commercial rooftops. This is a Casual role- Full-time for the right person based in Sydney, NSW. You will play a crucial role in SIPENERGY's mission to transition homes and businesses to renewable energy sources.

What you'll be doing

• Carefully assess and prepare rooftop surfaces for solar panel installation
• Install solar panels, inverters, and associated electrical components
• Ensure all work meets or exceeds safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with the wider SIPENERGY installation team to complete projects on time and on budget
• Provide excellent customer service and address any customer questions or concerns
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of SIPENERGY's installation processes

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a solar roofer or in a similar trades role
• Strong working knowledge of solar panel installation and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Physically fit and able to work at heights
• Relevant trade certifications or qualifications
