About the Company & Project
As a growing mid-tier civil contractor with a burgeoning portfolio of works across roadworks, urban development and mine site infrastructure works, we are actively seeking a motivated Senior Project Engineer/ Deputy Project Manager* with a strong mining infrastructure, earthworks and civil background to support projects in the $10m - $20m range in regional WA.
About You
You will be an articulate, motivated Senior Project Engineer with a minimum of 10 years' experience in the mining / resources sector, with sound commercial & financial acumen, strong understanding of production rates, planning, and ability to successfully drive project schedules.
We are specifically looking for Senior Project Engineers or Deputy Project Managers that can demonstrate the following criteria:
- Tertiary qualified (Civil Engineering/ Construction Management etc)
- Minimum of 10 years civil construction experience
- Exposure to earthworks and/ or roadworks, drainage etc
- Sound commercial and contractual acumen
- Ability to efficiently manage and motive teams and drive construction programmes
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability manage internal and external relationships
- Willing to work on 8/6 rosters, but also retain some flexibility around work rosters in the future.
- You will have full working rights for Australia and be a resident of Perth, or en-route to Perth.
*Our client is seeking someone who is comfortable in the 2ic role, and happy to provide consistency and stability in this key business role.

Expected salary range to be $170k - $200k + Super + 15% uplift subject to experience.
