We're looking for motivated Junior IT Mainframe COBOL Application Developers to design, build, test, and maintain applications that support enterprise-wide operations.

In this role, you'll work within a scrum team, partner with business stakeholders, and contribute to delivering high-quality, secure, and reliable IT solutions.

What you'll do:
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
  • Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Support key IT processes such as release, change, configuration, incident, and problem management.
  • Collaborate within an agile environment and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor and support junior team members.
  • Provide clear and professional technical advice across multiple communication channels.
What we're looking for:
  • Must have 1–2+ years of experience (including academic or internship exposure) in software development, ideally in mainframe or COBOL-based environments.
  • Understanding or exposure to COBOL, JCL, DB2, or mainframe systems.
  • Transferable technical skills such as debugging, batch processing, or working with legacy systems.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with an eagerness to learn and grow.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
