About the role
The Live Line Powerline Worker is responsible for carrying out all Live Line and general construction, installation, connection, maintenance and repair of high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) overhead and underground distribution network assets and equipment.
About You
To excel in this role a strong foundation in Powerline Worker trade skills is essential particularly in Live Line operations. You must demonstrate expertise in applying Powerline and Live Line skills in both planned and unplanned events, ensuring efficient and safe execution of procedures.
You will have a collaborative approach and understand the importance of working side by sides with colleagues and customers. You will positively contribute to the community and stakeholders and put safety at the forefront of everything you do.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems - Distribution Overhead - plus electives in the national units of competency for Live Line Barrier, Stick and Glove or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
- Drivers licence
- WorkCover NSW Construction Induction Cert
- Current national Live Line competencies for Stick, Glove and Barrier activities
- Attainment and ongoing successful maintenance of all regulatory, industry and business required licences, authorisations and other such certificates deemed necessary for the role
