About the Business

Steele House Raising is a fast-growing business looking for their next generation of crew to help deliver quality workmanship across all of their ongoing projects.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced operator to join our team. This is a casual position operating our 3.5T or 5T combo with ongoing full time hours and opportunity to transition into a full time role for the desired applicant.

Job locations will vary - Predominantly throughout Brisbane and surrounding suburbs. MR/HR licence essential as well as excavator tickets. We will be offering a competitive hourly rate for this position based on current experience.

Responsibilities/Daily Activities

  • Driving the truck to and from sites
  • Drilling piers
  • Under house digs
  • Taking direction as required by Site Supervisor and other senior tradesmen
  • Work as part of a team
  • Promote and practise a safe work environment

Essentials/Requirements

  • A valid MR/HR License
  • Other relevant tickets, licences and industry cards (White Card)
  • Understanding of safety in a construction environment
  • Comfortably operate a 3.5T Excavator/Combo on a range of sites including in tight and confined spaces
  • 1 to 2 years minimum experience
  • Willingness to work in a team environment or independently as required
  • Labour duties as directed
