Poly Welders & Mobile Plant Operators

MACFORCE Australia

  • Multiple positions available on various projects

  • 2:1 FIFO rosters from Perth available

  • Short and Long term positions

Poly Welder

  • Operating various Poly Welding machines such as Dixons, McElroys, Ritmos up to 900mm.

  • Installing HDPE pipelines and dewatering infrastructure, including Valves, T's, bends and reducers.

  • Ability to interpret drawings and work unsupervised

  • Install and operate dewatering systems at remote FIFO construction sites.

  • Conduct regular inspections of dewatering equipment to ensure proper functioning.

  • Experience sinking bores and associated works - desirable

  • Complete all site safety and quality compliance paperwork as required

Mobile Plant Operator

  • Operating one or more the following machines: Excavator, Loader, Skid steer & Telehandler

  • HR License preferable (or higher)

  • Using excavators for HDPE pipe installations and dewatering networks, trenching, slinging HDPE pipe into trenches/Poly welding machines.

  • Using loaders to load and unload pipe, earthworks

  • Experience in large scale earthworks & construction

Skills & Experience

  • HDPE Butt Welding Ticket and over 3 years experience as a poly welder.

  • Nationally accredited operating tickets and experience operating on poly welding and dewatering projects

  • Extensive knowledge of HDPE pipe installation

  • Experience using a range of welding machines, such as McElroy, Dixon

  • Sound understanding of procedures and quality compliances regarding HDPE Poly Welding

  • Data Logger experience is desirable

  • FMG, RIO and Roy Hill inductions are highly desirable.
