About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused MR Truck Driver to join our logistics team. This role involves a combination of local metropolitan deliveries, occasional interstate runs, and general warehouse duties including loading/unloading, stock handling, and basic dispatch tasks. The successful candidate will display a strong work ethic, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to represent the company professionally on the road and on-site.

Key Responsibilities

Driving & Deliveries

  • Complete local metro deliveries and occasional interstate runs in a safe and timely manner
  • Transport goods securely, ensuring load restraint and correct handling procedures
  • Conduct pre-start vehicle checks and report maintenance issues
  • Maintain delivery documentation, PODs, and manifest accuracy
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and site interactions

Warehouse & Dispatch

  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling
  • Pick and pack outbound orders
  • Receive and check inbound stock
  • Maintain warehouse organisation, cleanliness, and stock rotation
  • Follow WHS policies and contribute to a safe workplace environment

Skills & Experience

  • Valid MR Licence (essential)
  • Clean driving record and understanding of road transport regulations
  • Previous delivery driving experience (MR or above preferred)
  • Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy goods safely
  • Good communication and paperwork accuracy
  • Strong time management and reliability
