An experienced Department Store Lingerie Merchandiser is required for a casual position within the Myer and David Jones department stores in ACT including supporting brands including Nancy Ganz, Fine Lines,  and Kayser Lingerie.

Merchandisers work independently but alongside the staff from Department Stores to ensure that stock is merchandised in a way to engage customers and help stimulate sales, also fitting customers when required.

To be successful in this role you must:

  • Have previous merchandising experience ideally in lingerie
  • Be able to travel to different stores as needed
  • Be hard working and able to work independently
  • Have good time management skills
  • Be flexible

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure delivery of new stock to the floor, merchandising perfectly by size and colour to ensure maximum sales
  • Ensure advertised product to be on floor at correct time and ticketed as appropriate to event.
  • Ensure reserves are clean.  This includes stock from fitting rooms and registers.
  • Clean and maintain store product displays
  • Motivate store staff to sell the company's brand's.
  • Build relationships with store staff to ensure their understanding products
  • Price stock as appropriate either re ticketing/re pricing or markdown events as required.
  • Other reasonable ad hoc jobs as requested by Head Office.
