Hitech Solar is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Management Accountant with a minimum of 1 year of experience to join our dynamic team. As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in financial planning, cost analysis, and performance reporting to support strategic decision-making within the renewable sector.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for solar projects and operations.

  • Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, efficiencies, and areas for improvement in solar initiatives.

  • Ensure financial practices meet accounting standards and solar industry regulations and applicable laws.

  • Monitor compliance of projects with the Clean Energy Council Standards.

  • Conduct variance analysis with commentary on solar project costs, revenues, and margins.

  • Support annual budgeting and develop financial models for residential and commercial solar projects.

  • Monitor solar project expenses and margins to ensure profitability and cost efficiency.

  • Work with operations, installers, and sales teams to align financial data with solar project milestones.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline

  • CPA or CA qualification (or working towards) preferred

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar accounting role

  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
