We are seeking a talented and motivated family or criminal lawyer to become an integral part of our growing team. If you have at least two years of experience in family and/or criminal law or any other areas, this is your opportunity to advance your career in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Family or Criminal law experience is highly desirable, however other applicants will be considered.

This role is located is Cessnock NSW, close to picturesque countryside, vine-yards and plenty of highly rated cafes/ restaurants. If you a looking for a break from the bustling city, then this role is for you.

About the Role

This is fulltime opportunity, however applicants seeking part-time will be considered.

You will work in a small team with experiences administrative support. You'll have exposure to a broad range of family law and criminal matters. Your role will be to support our principal solicitor and run your own matters. You'll draft high-quality documents, manage client relationships, and contribute to strategy on active files.

• A capacity to meet with clients and understand our clients complex needs

• Highly desirable:

• Family law experience.
• Criminal law experience.
• Court advocacy and ability to appear in Court matters in the FCFCOA and Local Court.
• Ability to prepare, finalise and complete consent orders, binding financial agreement, initiating applications / interlocutory applications, prepare subpoena's and ensure disclosure requirements are complied with. Appearances for criminal or traffic matters are also a must.
• If you also have experience with wills and estates, this would be highly advantageous but is not a requirement.
