Join our team to support children and families through engaging playgroups on Norfolk Island. This role involves creating safe, stimulating environments, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring smooth operations.
Permanent part-time position- 16 hours per week (two half days, one full day); Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage children and parents in playgroup activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of personal information.
- Ensure a safe and supervised environment.
- Report concerns and comply with child protection laws.
- Complete required documentation and statistics.
- Assist with setup, food preparation, and cleanup.
- Promote a safe and tidy workplace.
Key Skills
- Experience with disadvantaged groups, including CALD and Aboriginal communities.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficient in written, verbal, and computer skills.
Qualifications & Experience
- Certificate III or above in Community Welfare or Early Childhood or relevant experience.
- Current NSW First Aid Certificate.
