Viva Leisure parent company to Club Lime one of Australia's leading fitness companies are looking for a new Club Manager to join the team on a permanent part-time basis in Aspley
Founded in 2004, Viva Leisure operates fitness clubs within the health and leisure industry. We have a trajectory of growth as the largest independent health club operator in Australia and are the first fitness facility operator to list on the Australian Securities Exchange.
This role is more than just a Club Manager and provides exceptional leadership, management and passion for health and well-being to all members and employees associated with Viva.
This is a permanent part-time opportunity - 25 hours per week.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSWe are looking for someone with:
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of and a passion for the Fitness Industry
- Experience in sales and customer service, ideally within the fitness or retail sectors
- Demonstrated people management and team leadership experience
- Proven sales aptitude with a results-driven mindset and ability to meet targets
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills, with a passion for engaging both team members and clients to strengthen the brand. Skilled in supporting diverse tasks and mentoring future leaders to help them achieve peak performance
- Proven ability to drive operational excellence through strong organisational and formal operational skills. Capable of managing multiple priorities effectively, with a proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and agility in adapting to evolving business needs
- Ability to be a role model and live our Viva values, and behaviours while being passionate about our brands. You will demonstrate professionalism, respect, courtesy and support
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Drive new member sign-ups, manage renewals, and implement strategies to enhance member satisfaction and retention
- Ensure all members and guests receive high-quality service; handle complaints and feedback promptly and professionally
- Maintain high standard of operational procedures. Manage administration, auditing and organisation of the club, ensuring all areas are clean, safe, and fully operational
- Ensure all activities, equipment, and facilities comply with health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Recruit, train, schedule and manage in club staff; ensure high team performance and morale
- Plan and execute local marketing campaigns, community engagement events, and promotions to increase visibility and attract new members
- Oversee the development and scheduling of fitness programs and classes, ensuring they meet member needs and industry trends
