Student Analyst

Team
As Student Analysis in our Project delivery team, you will become a part of CIP Terra Technologies. This team is responsible for development, procurement and project delivery at scale across a range of land-based renewable technologies: onshore wind, transmission, bioenergy, solar PV, battery storage and thermal.

Role:
As a Student Analyst at Terra Technologies, you will work closely with the Project Finance Controller to support financial performance across the lifecycle of renewable energy projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in financial modeling, data analysis, and project reporting within a constantly evolving, sustainability-driven environment.

Responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to:

• Managing and liaising with outsource service providers,
• Supporting budgeting and financial reporting activities, including being responsible for reconciling and raising re-charge invoices, chasing up outstanding payments and monthly expense management,
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly reporting packs, including development expenditure tracking,
• Supporting the preparing accurate reports and presentations to management and stakeholders. Period-end closing, including accounting entries and reconciliations

You
We are looking for someone who is currently completing their university studies in an applicable degree (e.g. Commerce/Accounting Degree) and is available to work on a part time basis from the Melbourne office 2-3 days a week.

• Close attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Solid experience with Excel and PowerPoint
• Comprehensive analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness to work in an international, efficient, and highly varied environment
