About the role

We are seeking an experienced Dermal/Beauty Therapist to join our team at Nu You Aesthetics and Skin in Mackay, Queensland. This is a part-time role, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing aesthetic clinic. You will be responsible for providing exceptional skin and beauty treatments to our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing a variety of advanced skin treatments and beauty therapies, including facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and RF microneedling treatments
  • Conducting comprehensive skin consultations and developing customised treatment plans for clients
  • Educating clients on their skin concerns and recommending appropriate home care products
  • Maintaining accurate client records and treatment documentation
  • Ensuring the clinic's treatment rooms and equipments are well-maintained and sanitised as per infection control guidelines
  • Collaborating with the wider team to deliver exceptional client service and support business growth

What we're looking for

  • Diploma of Beauty Therapy (or higher, e.g., Advanced Diploma or Dermal Science)
  • Previous skin clinic experience preferred, but enthusiastic graduates will also be considered
  • Strong knowledge of skin anatomy and physiology, as well as advanced skin care treatments
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to educate and advise clients
  • A passion for the aesthetics industry and a commitment to continuing professional development
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work a part-time schedule
  • Applicants must have valid Australian work rights or appropriate visa to work in Australia
