About the role

Blackwood Barbers' is seeking an experienced Barber/ Hair Stylist to join our team in our Nundah, Queensland location. This is a full-time position, offering competitive remuneration and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

What you'll be doing

  1. Providing high-quality haircuts, styles, and grooming services to our diverse client base
  2. Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional work area
  3. Advising clients on the best hairstyles and products to suit their needs
  4. Participating in product knowledge and skills training to continually improve your craft
  5. Contributing to a positive team environment and exceptional customer service

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years' experience as a Barber or Hair Stylist
  2. Strong technical skills in traditional barbering techniques, as well as modern hairstyling
  3. Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanour
  4. Ability to work efficiently and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  5. Enthusiasm for continuing education and staying up-to-date with industry trends
  6. Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
  7. Hold a minimum Certificate III in Hairdressing or Barbering qualification.
