In Home Caregiver

The role

Nurse Next Door - Bayside is seeking a passionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our dynamic team in Elsternwick, VIC 3185. These are casual positions where you will play a crucial role in providing personalised in-home care and support to our clients with a range of disabilities and care needs.

The locations

St.Kilda, Brighton, Hampton, Moorabbin, Highett, Cheltenham area's

What you'll be doing

• Providing compassionate and dignified care to improve the quality of life for our clients
• Promoting independence, social inclusion and community engagement for our clients
• Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, mobility, meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Connecting with your client, their family and the care team to develop and implement individualised care plans
• Maintaining detailed client records and documentation
• Adhering to all workplace health, safety and quality standards

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Caregiver, with a strong understanding of the unique needs of individuals with disabilities
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Caregiver working with people with disabilities
• Relevant qualifications such as a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or Aged Care
• Certificate III or IV qualification in Individual Support, Disability or Aged Care must be held at the time of application
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
• A caring, patient and empathetic attitude, with a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• A valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle preferred, but not essential
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Manual Handling certification or demonstrated experience
• Demonstrated experience in Manual Handling is acceptable in lieu of formal certification
• Full working rights in Australia are essential
