Conveyancer/Conveyancing Assistant

About us

We are a boutique law firm with a vibrant modern office located on the northern end of the Gold Coast. We specialise primarily in residential conveyancing, Wills and Estates. We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Conveyancer and/or Legal Assistant to join our team.

Qualifications & experience

• Previous legal, conveyancing or real estate industry experience advantageous but not essential.
• You must have a positive attitude and have a willingness to learn on the go, in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to multitask and work under pressure while maintaining a high quality of work is also essential.
• You must have exceptional time management and organisational skills.
• You will have the ability to work independently with a can-do attitude and strong attention to detail, spelling and grammar skills.

• Experience in:

• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)

• LEAP Legal Software advantageous but not essential.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Working alongside our Solicitor and Conveyancing Manager, your duties will include:
• Assisting our Principal Solicitor and Conveyancing Manager;
• File Opening and Data Entry;
• Scanning and photocopying;
• Managing telephone enquiries and making and managing appointments;
• Word Processing and document preparation;
• General office administrative tasks;
• Liaising with clients and third parties;
• Attending to the banking, post office and deliveries when required.
• Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm (Part-Time or School Hours may be considered for the right applicant)
