About The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Warranty Supervisor
to join our team in the A.C.T where you will assess, schedule & co-ordinate construction work for issues, defects or repairs on finished homes. Customer centric focus and your strong background in the residential housing sector will enable you to identify issues, scope repair works and communicate effectively so that all parties are informed. You will ensure that works are completed to the highest possible standard, remain cost effective, finished in efficient timeframes and done safely. You will develop relationships with contractors and customers to ensure alignment, outline timeframes and progress of works. You understand that difficult relationships can be managed with clear and concise communication, building trust and doing what you say you will do. You will also complete Pre-Handover inspections with Construction managers to help minimize defects or need for works and communicate potential issues identified by the wider warranty team to improve the build process. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to notification of warranty items, investigate and scope works
  • Assess and verify warranty defects and report to management
  • Complete rectification works in a timely manner to the clients satisfaction
  • Ensure works identified are completed to a high standard and client sign off is achieved
  • Complete minor works as required (adjustment of doors, locks and small construction activities)
  • Co-ordinate trades and set achievable targets for completion of works
  • Ensure safe work procedures and practices occur
  • Communicate with clients and trades regularly to maintain momentum and understanding of progress
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and other interested parties

Experience
About You:

  • Extensive exposure to the residential Class 1 building environment
  • Proven ability to lead, manage trades, and negotiate with interested parties
  • Extensive experience in scheduling and arranging works in residential settings
  • Strong understanding of WHS, quality, and environmental standards, with leadership skills that drive a positive culture
  • Ability to build strong relationships, problem solve and negotiate
  • Experience using OnSite Companion, ACC or similar computer systems to arrange works

  • Trade Qualification
  • Construction General Induction Card (White Card)
  • Asbestos Awareness Card
  • Silica Awareness Card
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Electrical Test & Tag (desirable)
