Due to growth in our busy private practices across the Sunshine Coast Regions (Birtinya, Noosaville, Gympie), we are looking for a Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in early 2026.

What You Will Do:

Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care

• Conducting comprehensive cardiac ultrasound examinations, including 2D, M-mode, Doppler, colour flow imaging and stress echocardiography.
• Conducting examinations in hospital, clinic, and mobile imaging unit facilities across all our clinic locations (Birtinya, Noosaville and Gympie).
• Conduct patient assessments and explain ultrasound procedures to patients, ensuring comfort and clarity throughout the process.
• Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper functioning and hygiene standards.
• Ensure high-quality images are obtained, adhering to clinical protocols and standards.
• Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques, attending relevant training and professional development opportunities.
• Interpret examination findings and provide preliminary reports, to assist Cardiologists in making accurate diagnoses.

Must haves

• Hold a Bachelor of Medical Sonography (or equivalent qualification) or successful completion of a Graduate Diploma or postgraduate degree in Cardiac Ultrasound.
• Hold a current registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
• A minimum of 1 years previous experience working as a Sonographer in a clinical or hospital environment is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with relevant medical imaging software and reporting systems (experience with Health Track practice management software is highly desired).
• Valid Drivers Licence as this role will require travel between clinic/ hospital locations.
