Pizza Maker

About the Role:

I Ragazzi, an Italian restaurant specializing in fresh, housemadepasta and pizza, is seeking a dedicated Pizza Maker to join our growing hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing pizza to order,  maintaining a clean and organized work area, and ensuring high food safety and cleanliness standards are met and exceeded. Additionally, the pizza maker will assist other chefs in the preparation and production of food as required, ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage, and keep all working areas clean and tidy while maintaining equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare pizza as well as pasta section

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Maintain high food safety and cleanliness standards

• Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage

• Assist other chefs in the preparation and production of food as required

• Ensure all WH&S and food safety standards are met and exceeded

• Keep all working areas clean and tidy. Ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced, and cleaned.

Requirements:

• Must be available and reliable to work weekends and nights

• Passionate about food

• Willing to multitask under pressure and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment

• Training will be provided to the right candidate
